Full Moon Hike

500 Old Mayo Park Rd, Mayodan, NC 27027, USA

Join us at Mayo River State Park for our August Full Moon Night Hike!

The full moon of August is called the "Sturgeon Moon" in reference to the abundance of sturgeon fish in North American lakes in rivers as they are the continents largest fresh water fish.

This hike will be along the 2-mile Mayo Mountain Loop; an easy-moderate hike with plenty of foliage and a steady incline. Please bring water, hiking shoes, and flashlights.

Event is subject to cancel due to poor weather. Please click the "I'm Interested" button as event will cancel when there are no registrations and recieve emails if canceled due to weather.
