Beaver Moon Hike

Join us at Mayo River State Park for a Beaver Moon Hike!

The Beaver Moon is the full moon of November and the start of a series of three supermoons and named after the time period when beavers prepare for winter. Join us on this fun experience along the Mayo Mountain trail, an easy-moderate 2 mile hike, through the peaceful foliage before the winter season comes along.

Please bring water, hiking shoes, and flashlights.
