Join DRBA, Visit Rockingham County, Boy Scouts, and Madison- Rockingham County Rescue Squad to clean up a section of the Dan River in Madison!
Join DRBA, Visit Rockingham County, Boy Scouts, and Madison- Rockingham County Rescue Squad to clean up a section of the Dan River in Madison!
By land and by foot (be ready to get wet), we will pull MANY tires and other trash items out of the Dan and Mayo River.
Thanks to the Boy Scouts, Madison Rockingham Rescue Squad and the Town of Madison, we are able to reach this private piece of land to clean out our beautiful waterway.
What will volunteers do?
We will be getting in the water by foot or boat to gather trash from 704/Water Street Access in Madison to a private takeout.

What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Wear closed toed shoes, athletic gear that you can get wet and dirty in, and a lifejacket and boat if you are paddling!
