First visit here. Kind of a hole in the wall place located in a half abandoned strip mall, but the place is clean & well lit. Chips & salsa were quickly served. Chips were freshly made, the salsa is a bit bland but I added some spicy red sauce & salt that brought it up to my taste. Ordered the Burrito Texasno. Man, what a huge burrito. First mexican restaurant that ive been to that didn't serve the food on a plate hot from the oven. And though the food wasn't cold, it wasn't piping hot either (I hate to send food back to be reheated. Microwaves can screw it up worse). Overall, not a bad meal but I kinda expected what I get back home at my local establishments. I think 3 stars are a fair rating.

All we got was tamales. They were probably the best ones we have had, and we lived and worked all over South Texas. They were big in size and were the most moist that we have ate. The pork was good and enough of it. Would definitely go back.

We stopped in for lunch while traveling through the area. We ordered the steak and cheese tortas—they were delicious and worked well for taking on the road. I would love to eat here again if I’m ever back in the area.
