All of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming! The food came out quick and was absolutely delicious, everything was fresh and tasted to die for! The special of French toast with the berry butter was scrumptious! Although a smaller restaurant in size it felt like there was a lot of space inside and didn’t feel cramped. Definitely felt right at home with great southern hospitality! Would 1,000% recommend to anyone to check it out!

So glad we found this place! Delicious food and the kindest staff! Cozy southern farmhouse vibes! Grab a table and order at the front. They will come around and make sure your taken care of but it’s simple and easy! The owner took our order, her husband cooked perfect food and daughter refilled my coffee! 10/10 Love everything about this establishment and absolutely will revisit!

Ive always rode by this place for years but was always nervous to eat hear because of the history of rockingham county with racism but the food atmosphere and service was amazing the grits so creamy no salt or sugar needed just cheese and butter an boom delicious will definitely come again

My wife and I stopped here on our way north from Georgia. We needed a restroom all the driving and this was a perfect spot. The food was incredibly good quality and fresh. Even the iced tea and sweet tea or freshly homemade. As were the sides. I think it was the best brisket barbecue sandwich I ever had. The locals in there all know each other and the owners and staff come to say hello and make sure everything is okay. I'm headed south again a few months from now and unless it's way out of my way I'm going to try to make it my lunch stop on the way south. We really enjoy this place and hope they do well forever!

Finally got to try this gem today and it did not disappoint!! Amazingly juicy burger that was full of flavor, fries were perfection and the pulled pork sandwich was great. We got a take home meal of chicken and biscuits and of course a brownie and huge chocolate chip cookie. Love that they have many gluten free options and clearly label common allergens. All staff were very helpful, super clean bathrooms and the gift shop area was filled with so many beautiful items from other local businesses including some children's toys my son loved. I noticed scripture based stickers, cards and a coloring book from one of my favorite local artists, Word Garden Studios!

I was back home in Rockingham County, NC, visiting family. Came across this eatery during a Google search. First time visit. Small, family owned restaurant built on courteous service, a welcoming atmosphere, an aesthically pleasing design, and delicious food. Upon arrival, we were greeted very warmly by the staff working the order placing station. All smiles. We were provided menus and informed of the current specials. The staff demonstrated menu familiarity, answered all our questions, and address any specific dietary concerns. I ordered the Breakfast platter. Their biscuits with homemade triple berry jam are certified Awesome! They have gluten free version too. Take some home for later. The bacon was cooked just the way I like it: crisp, maybe a burn mark or two. The scrambled eggs melt in your mouth. Two thumbs up! I also added a spinach salad. Delicious, perfect add on. My guest ordered fresh veggies, humus, and potato salad. Equally delightful. I purchased a chocolate chip cookie and the banana pudding for the trip back home. Great cookie. That banana pudding was simply amazing. Hats off to the family that greeted us at our table. Thank you for sharing your stories and making us feel at home. Kudos to the Chef and his assistants. Job well done. Hats off to all the exceptional young people working hard. Definitely worth a visit. Totally enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and people.
