Melissa WebbSpent the weekend here and will absolutely go back, the entire campground is well taken care of… absolutely gorgeous and the people are so friendly…. if you have to use the bath houses, they are exceptional clean and well stocked, no complaints at all.. hands down one of the best places ive been… DONT WALK, RUN TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!

D PangalloI can’t say enough good things about this campground! We stayed for approximately 3 months as my husband travels with his work. During that time we had to change our dates a few times and Nick (owner) was extremely accommodating and understanding. The grounds, itself, are beautifully maintained. Their Camp Hosts Johnny and Kay work very hard at keeping it that way and are very friendly. The sites are also well maintained and oversized. Aside from being beautiful, the campground is very quiet and clean. We saw deer, bunnies, and even a skunk one night. The weekends/holidays can get very busy as it has a lot for children to do as well, with its pool, ping pong, swings, volleyball net, etc., but thankfully the owners have rules that they enforce (and most people respectfully abide by) to make sure everyone is having a good time! I would highly recommend Dan River Campground for anyone who is looking for a beautiful place to stay and enjoy a clean and quiet piece of nature with plenty of things to do to stay busy. Thank you Nick and Anne for such a pleasurable stay at your beautiful property!
