Ashley KochelMost of my pics were of next day i forgot to take pics of beds made but were nice and folded as all hotels do. Surprisingly it wasnt that bad. We were traveling for college visit with daughter. Ended up getting closer to our destination but was driving all night it was 5am so tired just wanted to sleep so we pulled over where there were hotels. A holiday inn very nice but was wanting to charger 200 since it was still technically before checkin so be a "night". So 2 days would be $400+ Nope! Went across road to a Days inn more like motel-ish look but lot cheaper. Got cheaper for that first "night" and then went and booked for the next day too. Beds looked clean no visible bugs or stains on beds or towels. My only few negatives… the bathroom behind door and by toilet had hair so they didnt do very well on cleaning. Some water damage on ceiling assuming from floor above. The coffee pot was not cleaned well i went to put water in back and that white water scum stuff came floating up. But a loves across road so we were fine. Smelled of cigarettes wasnt sure if it was room or because other rooms around were smoking. But it was a 2 star hotel wasnt expecting much. We just wanted to sleep. But we stayed 2 nights because was getting lower on holtel money and it was a cheaper choice about hour away from where we needed to be. 2nd day the bathroom light went out maintenance came quickly and replaced bulb. We didnt go to the breakfast were on a time crunch. But it wasnt bad Ive seen and stayed in worse.. Would I book it again… if i were going that way again maybe if I was low on money again sure.
