Aug 26, 2025 · Google Review2.5 stars – not 3. My niece got married here recently. The place is beautiful. There's plenty of space for the bride and groom to get ready away from each other, without one or the other being cramped. The coordinators were AMAZING. They were beyond helpful, checked in often, made sure the bride ate…I have nothing negative to say about them But the owners are a different story. Several guests overheard one of them making snide remarks, the other made a comment about how many paper towels were used for the 2 days the venue was rented. Who cares? You were paid nearly $3000 – the number of paper towels rolls used is irrelevant. Nevermind the custom built wooden photo booth background that was built by the family, at a cost of over $200, that was given to the owners at no cost.
Jun 16, 2025 · Google ReviewWe attended the Shenandoah Concert recently at this venue. I give The Farm House 4 stars (being generous) for being well organized for the event. Parking assistants were ready for the crowd, and we even had a golf cart ride from our car. I take away a star for the location of the stage and seating location and arrangement. The stage was located in the front lawn of the home and the seating was in an asphalt parking lot downhill from the stage. It was very hot that day and the asphalt lot only made things worse. Being on a downward slope away from the stage made it difficult to see the stage even when standing because everyone in front was also standing. All the open-air venues I've been to generally have the stage below the seating areas. We will likely not attend another concert of this size at this venue.
