Course was actually in nice shape. I swore last year I wouldn't come back due ultra soft and sanded greens and due to the excessive policies on coolers (even just bringing waters) and long wait at the bar for drinks. Greens were extremely receptive which was nice for a change. A lot of them had 1000's of pitch marks but I understand the problem is golfers not the maintenance crew. Food is fantastic as always and usually ready if you place order on hold 7. Keep up the good work, can't wait to come back
Jul 9, 2026 · Google ReviewFirst time playing this weekend. Price is a little high, but it might be my favorite course in the triad. Every hole is wide open, large fairways. Only hit one bunker and it was in good shape. Did notice quite a few holding considerable water though. It had just rained so I wouldn't hold it against them. Other reviews stated they were hard as rocks, cant confirm based on the one I was in. Greens were good. Very fast. Couple rough patches but mostly solid, fast, greens. Starter was super friendly and helpful, Pro in the shop was very nice. Range is very nice but could use a distance chart for the flags for easier reading. Food was pretty good. Pace of play was okay. Had a twosome in front of us, we were a group of three. The two were playing considerably slower than us but we never held up the group behind us. Shot the lowest Ive shot in some time, had a great time, and will return.
Mar 2, 2026 · Google ReviewI personally have played 100s of courses and GN has always been in my top 5. Beautiful course , very open and top notch experience. From the course to the clubhouse. We finished our round yesterday and Cameron the waitress/bartender was phenomenal. Buffalo trace and a wagyu burger for dinner. Need i say more 👍👍
Jun 28, 2026 · Google ReviewJust about perfect, except for the bunkers. This course is an excellent design of hazards and rewards. Off the tee this course is a long hitters paradise as it demands length but accepts both angles draws and fades. Fairways are well maintained. Tees are in decent shape for the time of year. Greens rolled wonderful, many in of group thought the best we had seen all year. Best bent greens I've seen. Excellent burger at the turn. This course is almost perfect which is why my complaint is odd. I hit into two bunkers yesterday and the group hit into two more all were unplayable. We play rake clean and place in all bunkers at all courses. Can't do that here, too hard. This is so surprising as the rest of the course is well maintained. Were they raked? Yes they were, but running a sand machine thru them without the digging tynes down does nothing at this point. Other than that this day was perfect. We will return.
