For six decades, Rockingham Community College has transformed lives through education, workforce training, and community engagement.

Since opening its doors in 1966, RCC has empowered students, strengthened local industries, and helped shape the future of Rockingham County.

Join us as we celebrate our history, honor those who helped build our legacy, and look ahead to the next 60 years of opportunity.

We hope you’ll join us as we kick off a year-long celebration of RCC’s 60th anniversary.

Events will begin at 1 p.m. with a short ribbon cutting at our new campus landmark, the Astrolabe, located in the traffic circle between the Administration Building and the Center for Workforce Development.

Then, everyone will walk over to the back patio of the Whitcomb Student Center for live music from Too Much Sylvia, food, games, and more. The celebration will conclude at 4:30 p.m.
