I read the glowing reviews about this orchard so I thought I’d give them a try this past Thursday since it was a very nice day for a long drive. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when I pull into their driveway only to be stopped by a rope preventing entry at approximately 1:30. I was sure their hours were until 5:00 pm so I double check the website. I’m correct. Then I notice the sign. I wonder how hard it would have been to log into their account and made the update on the closing for the day? At that point I just looked for another orchard nearby and found one that took me even further away from my home but at that point it made sense. I don’t mind long drives if I want something but I don’t like my time wasted. I’ve found a new orchard that will forever have my business and it’s NOT this one. I’d advise you to call before you make the drive to confirm that they are indeed open.
