Mark AliveLet me first start off with the sugar before the salt. I had great customer service both times I went in today, staff is friendly. I love the atmosphere, especially when Joe is playing his guitar, really comfortable getting some reading done while my wife crocheted. We used to go in fairly often , but my cancer treatment has made our visits less frequent, just wish it was open a little later than 5. So now to the salt For the 1st time , in my 48 years on the planet, and drinking lots of coffee, have I ever paid 12/13 dollars for a latte. The barista showed me a smaller menu by the register which caught my eye. The Barista recommended something , as well as said I could get it a latte instead of a frap. She rings me up, and on auto pilot, I tapped my card, left a tip, and went and sat down. I am a little spacey from my treatments, but usually more aware. I was assuming "a special " medium drink would be 7 maybe 8 bucks, as if I ordered the same drink by ordering a latte with the same ingredients would be cheaper. When I came in the second time after getting my wife I asked how much I paid for the special and I was shocked to say the least. She got a milkshake with caramel and it was way cheaper like 8 dollars.. I've never paid this much for medium coffee ever , even living in New York,Colorado, ect. You think big cities big prices, but this little town has em beat. Also with the "Specials " list there was no prices on them. Overall it's my fault for assuming cheaper and not inquiring the price before buying, but none the less I'm shocked. Maybe put prices next to the specials so people know, or at least tell them? I have a hard time in my mind of wanting to go back now, I guess we will see. Again everything was great except the price. The drink was good, not 12 dollars good, but good. Thanks for reading my rant.

William ResickWe stumbled upon The Mad Bean while exploring Madison. The atmosphere is like sitting at your home dining room table. The Wishing well feature is fun. The owners and their staff were all friendly. Some many flavored coffee options . Options to eat breakfast or lunch. We will definitely be back

Yalitxis Lugo ValleIm from out of town and I always like to support small businesses and I found this beautiful coffee shop in the middle of nowhere and it’s awesome, beautiful place, friendly staff. I like the menu, they do offer different options for everyone.

Midknight MechanicsBoth the food and coffee was excellent. The girls up front were very friendly. I’ve been taking my coworkers here for lunch instead of the free catering being brought to our office. That tells you something.
