Jerry HatcherWe'll DEFINITELY be back! Their Meatloaf sandwich is DELICIOUS! Has green peppers and a slight sweet brown sugar taste. Big! Plenty of fries. Mom had grilled chicken sandwich and CRISPY okra. HOMEMADE CAKES (we tried the Chocolate lovers and Orange Creamsicle). Wow. Also had Reeses Peanut Butter… Kinley was our server and cashier. Very kind and patient young lady, as we perused the menu for about an hour or so because of all the choices of food… Haha

Cutting Edge Land ManagementNanny’s Cabin is the kind of restaurant Cracker Barrel has spent years trying to emulate, but this is the real deal. It is a cool, welcoming spot in a log cabin with a big front porch and a covered patio that make it feel like you are visiting somewhere with real local character. The service was great: friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. The food is simple, honest, satisfying Southern family cooking, exactly what you hope for when you sit down for a comforting breakfast or meal. If you appreciate a relaxed atmosphere, good people, and food that does not need to be dressed up to be good, put Nanny’s Cabin on your list. This is the sort of local place worth supporting and returning to.

Ashley MabeWe have been wanting to try this place for a while, and let me tell you… it did not disappoint! The food was so good! 🤤 One thing we loved is that you don’t have to order just off the meal train menu — they have a full menu packed with delicious options. The chicken tenders and loaded fries were AWESOME! 🍟🔥 Everything tasted fresh and home cooked, and you can definitely tell they put love into the food. If you haven’t checked them out yet, you definitely should. You won’t be disappointed! Nanny’s Cabin ❤️

Maxine TaylorHad the footlong and it was loaded down and delicious and made just the way I like it and the onion rings were delicious. Loved sitting outside with my family listening to the music they are offering on weekends. Highly recommend and so glad we have this in Mayodan!
