R & K campground is clean, quiet, and well-kept, with a peaceful vibe. The campground farm store with fresh baked goods, and eggs was a nice bonus. It’s in a convenient spot near the Duke energy plant, and a gas station is right beside the property. There are good restaurants in the small town close by. They also have a couple rental campers and small houses for other convenient options. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We are traveling workers and live in our AS. This is by far the best place we have ever stayed for long term stays! Love the rocks that Randy used to create his sites. No dust and no rocks inside your camper. Our site was level and did not require us to use any leveling equipment which was so nice. Spaces are large and spread out. Enough open skies to have a perfect Starlink connection. The owner is super helpful and friendly. He is working on getting a laundry room set up in an existing structure which will add even more stars to this place. (Very nice laundromat right down the road.) He is also building a playground set for families with children. We will definitely be back!

Owner was great. We work in the road and he was accommodating the whole time. We had our water heater out and he let us shower at the house rit next to us. He helped fellow workers get spots to stay as well, even a few without an RV but he rented out some that he had on property and 2 houses. Would return for sure. He worked with everyone.

Family of adventurers here! My husband, my daughter and myself were looking for a campground in between home in Virginia and Ashborro NC! I called the owner Randy the night before and he was very kind and welcoming! He had availability for our camper and truck as a last minute booking! We arrived and fell in love with how peaceful this campground was! Super clean and well maintained! Full hook up sites, great WiFi, we loved spot 9, with the beautiful view of bamboo (pictured below). Randy met us in person and gave us some awesome recommendations of local places and restaurants! He’s very responsive to calls and texts as well which was helpful! Very safe campground as well which is super important to us! 10/10 recommend! Thanks for having us, we will definitely be recommending this to all our family and friends!
