Super awesome, friendly, clean and well designed campground. I'm a scout leader and this is a perfect location for enjoying the Dan River with our scouts in canoes. Great places to play including a pool and many activity areas. It would be a shame to miss this campground if needing one in this area. Troop 17
May 16, 2026 · Google ReviewVery friendly helpful staff. Even on a very rainy weekend was able to get dry firewood. Very clean sites, bathrooms and the pool was very nice. Kids had plenty of space to run and play. A live band preformed while we were there and created a very cheerful friendly atmosphere.
May 25, 2026 · Google ReviewNice place. The owners are beautiful people too. This July 4th. they served ice cream and hot dogs for free. They have a nice swimming pool and we can enjoy the river too. The band in the night was awesome too. I'll be back next year.
Jul 6, 2026 · Google ReviewMy wife and stayed a week and had a very pleasant experience. Campground is well kept, clean, and quiet. Great place for families. Many amenities for children and adults. We already look forward to returning.
Jul 29, 2026 · Google ReviewWasn’t planning on leaving a review but this dude left me no choice. Great camp ground. Nice staff, the woman Anne was sweet. The husband Nick, was a complete jerk to one of our campers. I brought a baseball team to enjoy nature and build team relationships. We were bringing our boys to front to be pick up by the parents, because they are 100% anal about cars driving in their car camp site. So we obliged, one of the coaches tapped ( no damage at all) the protective pole next to this dudes gate and he ran out and yelled as though he had set the thing on fire. We apologized inspected the post and moved on. I mentioned the infraction in later communication and he lied about multiple issues he had with our stay. Non of which took place and were completely fabricated. Searching for justification with his ill behavior. Accountability, respect, honesty, and kindness does not exist with this person. I visit many camp sites throughout the region and have never dealt with anyone nearly as difficult. He needs to hire someone who understands how to talk to people and demote himself to cutting the grass. I own my own business and understand what it takes to keep people happy. This guy falls short of that requirement. Again nice space, nice area, customer service is lacking. It’s a campground, chill out.
