Rockingham County Veterans Park
Begin at the Rockingham County Governmental Center. This paved trail is shaded throughout. There are views of a creek in the middle of the small park. There are lots of benches along the way with grills. As you walk, there are multiple dedications to veterans.
Accessibility Overview: 5 ft. concrete path with considerable elevation change. There is one boardwalk at the lowest point on the trail.

Charles AtkinsThe Rockingham County Veterans Park is a very beautiful trbute to the veterans. Plenty of places to sit. You can search for the names of the veterans. The park has a nice walking path that could use some repair. A few of the stone picnic tables and the walking path bridge looks damaged. A great place to honor our service men and women that sacraficed everything.

Terry DavisThe Rockingham Veterans Park has been updated now with a kiosk that makes it easier to locate which stone a veteran's name is engraved on. Just punch in the veteran's info, and it will tell exactly where to find the name. Saves a lot of time.

Tawni LambThis is a wonderful memorial to veterans! It is beautifully set up. There is a nice and shady walking trail with some tables and seats set up throughout. This is such a peaceful place to come and relax. The monuments were truly amazing.
