The Fine Arts Festival Association of Rockingham County (FAFA) was organized in 1944 and strives to educate, promote, and strengthen the arts community in music, literature, and two- and three-dimensional art.

For more than seven decades, FAFA has organized and sponsored a yearly Fine Arts Festival which exhibits and awards prizes for the artwork of county residents. The festival is open to all Rockingham County residents aged sixteen years and older. An average of 300 pieces are entered yearly.
